Children

Teens 13+ are welcome to enjoy full use of our facilities with the same privileges as adults. We respectfully request for parents to assist in ensuring teens practice modest and respectful behavior in the clothing-optional bathing area and in general, behave in a manner appropriate for the Health Sanctuary. Parents are responsible for any loss/damage to Wilbur property.

Pets

Pets are not permitted on the premises, nor may they be tied up or left in a vehicle at any time. Only licensed service animals trained for a specific disability/condition are allowed at Wilbur (no emotional support animals, no pets, no companion animals.)

Guests who bring unauthorized pets/support/companion animals to Wilbur may be asked to leave premises immediately.

Cancellations

Wilbur Hot Springs has a 3-day cancellation policy. You may cancel your reservation with no penalty up to three days from your reservation date. If you cancel within three days, we will charge 50% of the reservation total. Same-day cancellations and no-shows will be charged 100% of the total cost.

On Holidays, Guest Chef Weekends or for Special Events, there is no penalty for cancellations more than 7 days prior to check-in. If canceled within 7 days, we will charge 50% of the total reservation cost which includes food and beverage charges. No-shows will be charged 100% of the total cost.

There is no penalty for healing arts cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time. If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within the 24 hour cancellation period, the full amount of the original appointment will be charged to the credit card on the reservation.

Land Management Fees

All overnight and day use prices include 11% land management fees.  These land management fees are earmarked for land stewardship projects around the property and on the nature preserve.

Smoking:

At Wilbur we live with extreme wildfire risk. Smoking is ONLY allowed in the designated smoking area in the Ramada. Smoking, candles, lit herbs, cook stoves, incense and fire of any kind is strictly prohibited in guest rooms and all other locations. A cleaning and maintenance fee of $200 will be charged if any evidence of smoking or prohibited activity is detected. Thank you for your understanding on this important policy.

Special Events:

During Guest Chef Weekends, a food and beverage minimum charge of $225 per person will be applied in addition to the overnight accommodation rate.

Groups:

In the past, Wilbur was able to accommodate smaller groups in the “Red House,” which offers separate dining and gathering facilities. Unfortunately that space is no longer available. Our current experience is that when groups of friends come together to Wilbur, they tend to interact, usually unintentionally, in ways that can disrupt the experience of other guests, many of whom are seeking the uniquely quiet sanctuary of Wilbur’s land and healing waters. If you are considering a visit to Wilbur with a group of more than 5 people, please contact the front desk before booking in order to best manage expectations for your visit.

Minimum Stays:

There is a two-night minimum for reservations in all indoor accommodations. Camping reservations are available during the summer months and can be booked for single-night stays.

Impossibility of Performance:

It is agreed that Wilbur Hot Springs regrets that it cannot make exceptions to the reservation and cancellation policy for any reason, except in the event of natural disasters or by order of government authorities.
